Streetwear meets Art

Kunsthaus Zürich

The vernissage

For our first collection, we combined two worlds full of expression and emotion—fashion and fine art. Each piece is a dialogue between the craft of garment-making and the timeless appeal of visual art, merging textures and colors that tell a story beyond the canvas. This collection invites you to wear not only fabric but also the artistry and emotion embedded within each piece, allowing art to live beyond gallery walls. Shot within the iconic Kunsthaus Zürich, these pieces echo the spirit of fine art, transforming everyday wear into a curated gallery.

Selbstbildnis

The painting "Selbstbildnis" depicts a man covering his face with sunflowers. The sunflower acts as a mask or veil, concealing the man's identity. This choice carries poetic symbolism, as sunflowers are often associated with sun, light, and hope. The decision to conceal his face may suggest a desire to hide an aspect of his identity or to shield himself symbolically. The colors and styles of the painting draw influence from prominent artists of the Impressionist movement in visual arts. Presented on a shirt print, the painting adds an intriguing layer as it's integrated into a fashion collection, emphasizing the intersection of art and fashion.

The origin

This piece is the very first step toward the first collection. Its the catalyst behind everything.

Imra'a

The painting "Imra'a," which translates to 'Woman' in Arabic, blends expressionistic style with geometric abstraction. At its core is an abstract representation of a woman, capturing her essence through dynamic forms and bold colors. Serving as a centerpiece on a shirt print, it becomes an artistic motif on a person. The colors and styles are influenced by prominent painters of the visual arts, creating a fusion of art and fashion that celebrates feminine strength and beauty.

culture

Cultures shape our upbringing, perspectives - they shape us on a deeply personal level. We honor them by wearing and displaying them on ourselves.

Minhwa

"Minhwa" is a captivating painting that exemplifies the vibrant artistry of Korean folk painting. Set against a luminous yellow backdrop, the painting features a prominent tiger, showcasing the traditional motif often found in Minhwa artworks. Despite its simplicity, the painting exudes a sense of cheerfulness and humor, offering a ray of light in somber times. This artwork serves as a poignant representation of the resilience and optimism inherent in Korean culture, as well as the ability of art to uplift spirits. Influenced by the styles and palettes of renowned artists, "Minhwa" transcends traditional boundaries, creating a visual masterpiece that resonates with viewers on multiple levels.
